If you are interested in your child attending Our School in the Woods you can email us at [email protected] or complete the form on the ‘Contact Us’ tab and we will send you an application form. An application form can also be downloaded below. Note, please choose the Tues/Weds application form for the 5-12 years group and the Thursday application form for the 11-16 group.
We can organise a visit for you and your child so you can experience the woods for yourselves before you proceed. Once you are ready to join us, we will require you to complete an application form, which includes our contract with you – you can download this below. The contract is our way of facilitating as much communication as possible between home and our unique setting in the woods. These documents lay out our daily routine, how we manage behaviour, communication, and payments. Our fees.
To maintain low adult to child ratios, places at our Tuesday and Wednesday sessions are limited to 24 children, and 12 children at our older group sessions on Thursdays.
For Tuesdays and Wednesdays, our fee is £46.85 per day per child and if a sibling also attends this is reduced to £44.85 per day per child. Children bring their own lunch but we often cook a snack on the fire.
Payment can be made by monthly standing order or in full in advance. We also accept childcare vouchers.
Whether you are paying the fees upfront or in monthly instalments the first payment must be made at least 5 working days before the first day of term.
We require a deposit of £200 per family to formally reserve your place(s), £50 of this is a non-refundable administrative fee.
Note, for our older group days on Thursdays the fees are: £33 per day per child (£31 sibling rate) with a £100 deposit per family (plus a £25 nonrefundable admin fee).
